Carol Nuñez is an award-winning director, actress and filmmaker from Miami, FL. Her focus in films is to bring empathy to audiences through fictional or non-fictional stories. She originally studied acting and was quickly drawn into movie making. Due to her background in acting, directing has been like a calling card.

Carol has directed and written several short films that have been in film festivals like the International World Film Awards, Sweden Film Awards and London Director Awards. She was selected as Best Director Indie Short 2022 at the London Director Awards.

In 2022, she completed Flourish which she wrote, directed, produced, and edited. Flourish went on to be selected as finalist in the Sweden Film Awards and the International World Film Awards.

She is currently in her final semester at Miami Dade College where she will graduate with a B.A.S in Film, Television and Digital Production. She is currently in production for her final film at the university called There’s Someone in the House.
